A significant step towards advancing technological innovation in Palestine was marked with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Insights for Research, Surveys, and Training and the Palestine Techno Park. The agreement is aimed at supporting the establishment of innovation labs that will provide an advanced environment for students and graduates to develop cutting-edge digital solutions, with a special focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis.
Insights for Research, Polling, and Training, in partnership with INTEGRATED International, is supporting the evaluation of UNICEF’s Education Programme in the West Bank. As the national research and field implementation partner, Insights is leading local data collection, stakeholder engagement, and field coordination, ensuring that evidence generated through the evaluation is contextually grounded, methodologically rigorous, and aligned with UNICEF’s standards on ethics, safeguarding, and conflict sensitivity.
Insights participated in a practical field visit to the Jordan Customs Department, conducted as part of the applied programme accompanying the regional workshop on the development of international trade statistics, jointly organized by the Arab Institute for Training and Research in Statistics, ESCWA, and SESRIC.
The delegation was received by senior officials from Jordan Customs Department, where discussions highlighted the importance of institutional coordination among national data-producing entities. The visit included a technical presentation on foreign trade statistics, key challenges related to data collection and analysis, and ongoing efforts to bridge statistical gaps between customs authorities and national statistical offices.
Insights, in partnership with Leaders Organization, launched a practical online training on data analysis and AI in analytics as part of Digiworks programme. The programme saw strong participation from the Gaza Strip, highlighting their resilience, technical talent, and innovation potential despite challenging conditions.
Insights reaffirmed its commitment to building digital skills and supporting employment opportunities for young Gazans through its regional and international partner network.
